Trezor Login Start Guide

Access Your Digital Assets Safely

Welcome to your secure wallet. This simple guide will walk you through the process of logging in to your Trezor and accessing your funds using the official **Trezor Suite** application.

Step 1: Connect Your Trezor

Take your Trezor device and the USB cable that came with it. Plug the smaller end of the cable into your Trezor and the larger end into an available USB port on your computer. Your Trezor device will power on and display the Trezor logo or a lock screen.

**Remember:** Always use the official cable provided with your device to ensure a secure connection.

Step 2: Launch Trezor Suite

Open the **Trezor Suite** application on your computer. If you don't have it installed yet, you can download it from the only official website: **suite.trezor.io**. Trezor Suite is a dedicated, secure application that is the only way to interact with your Trezor device. Avoid using any other software or browser extensions that claim to be for Trezor.

The Suite will automatically detect your connected Trezor device.

Step 3: Enter Your PIN

To unlock your Trezor, you'll need to enter your **PIN**. The Trezor Suite will show you a numbered grid on your computer screen. **The numbers on this grid are randomized.** At the same time, a different, scrambled grid of numbers will appear on your Trezor's screen.

Using your mouse, click on the numbers on your **computer screen** that correspond to the positions of the numbers on your **Trezor's screen**. This process prevents keyloggers from ever knowing your PIN. For example, if the number '1' on your Trezor is in the top-left position, you click the top-left box on your computer's screen.

Step 4: Enter Your Passphrase (Optional)

If you have enabled a **passphrase**, the Trezor Suite will prompt you to enter it now. This passphrase is an extra word or phrase that acts as an additional layer of security. **You will type your passphrase directly into the Trezor Suite on your computer.** The passphrase is never stored on the device, providing plausible deniability if your recovery seed is ever compromised.

**Note:** If you are a beginner and have not set up a passphrase, you can skip this step. For advanced users, remember that a passphrase creates a hidden wallet, and you must use the exact same passphrase every time to access it.

You're In!

Congratulations! You have successfully logged in. You will now be taken to the **Trezor Suite dashboard**, where you can view your portfolio, send and receive cryptocurrencies, and manage all your accounts. Your Trezor device is now ready to use, and your private keys remain securely offline.
